Mantaraya.org works with various filmmakers, shamans, healers, artists around subjects of Shamanism, indigenous rights, protection of the Amazon rainforest.
Ana Santos is the voice of Mantaraya. She is currently working with the Kanamari indigenous community that lives in one of the most isolated areas of Brazil: Terra Indigena. She is collaborating with various non profit organizations, looking to create a stronger voice with these communities about the importance of their wisdom, knowledge and ways of living.
She believes that all arts and society are instrinsically connected, and to create a social change we need to  understand and look depper into our behavior and other cultures, to try to cut away inside roots of colonialism, imperialism and self-centered way of existence and visions of reality.

Ana is a multimedia and documentary artist, currently working in New York City, Colombia and Brazil. She has a profound knowledge and experience in interactive design, television, video, film and creative direction. With a long passion for travel, cultural diversity and world issues she is currently working on 2 documentaries: One with HBO about the importance of the Amazon and the geopolical aspects of water in south america, the second about the Kanamari indigneous community about indigenous rights and the importance of the indigneous way of existence and believes around the world.
